Hello there crafty friends!
Today I am back with another challenge, this time I’m playing along with the Lawn Fawnatics challenge #7 – watercolor.
I really liked the theme of this challenge, and so I decided to go ahead and create a watercolor background with my pigment inks and use my Make Lemonade stamp set from Lawn Fawn for it. I just like the theme and matching it with bright yellows, just perfect for summer time. Also, I like those mini stamps as they are a great value for money.
I used the ink smooshing technique to apply the yellow ink and then a brush to splatter the blue ink on top of it, using 3 1/2 x 3 1/2″ panels of white cardstock.
With my Spectrum Noir markers I colored the images in, and cut them out with scissors. I then arranged and glued them on my panels and then attached said ones with double sided tape on my card bases, finishing of with the sentiment Make Lemonade and a couple of blue lagoon Nuvo drops scattered all over.
Materials used:
*White cardstock
*docrafts pigment ink in yellow and light blue
*Nuvo glitter drops in blue lagoon
*Lawn Fawn stamp set Make Lemonade
*Chameleon pen in BL3 sky blue
*Spectrum Noir markers in CT1, CT2, CT3, IG1
*Ranger Archival ink jet black (for the sentiment)
*Memento dye ink Tuxedo black (images)
These are adorable!!
