Color Throwdown 454

Hello my crafty friends!

It’s time for another color throwdown project.

The colors for this week are green, kraft and white.

I went ahead and created a shaker card or rather element or ornament with the new Sugar Pea Designs lantern die and the “Easily A’moose’d” stamp set.

I’m still so in love with this lantern die and I’ve used it for a couple of different projects now. I don’t get bored to look at it. It’s perfect  for so many occasions!

For the shaker, I die cut the lantern 5 times, then I stacked 3 of them upon each other (4 would have been better, the  sequins don’t move as freely as I wanted to)

I glued some acetate onto the back of the remaining two die cuts, but only on the middle/inside portion of the lamp) then I attached one of them to the stacked lanterns, added the sequins and sealed the shaker with the remaining die cut.

I colored both of the moose and the accessories with Faber Castell Gelatos and Reeves wax pastels, by using them as water colors and attached them onto the front of the lantern, as well as two die cut monstera leaves at the top. Finishing of with some raffia at the top.
