Color Throwdown 446

Hello crafty friends,

Today I am back with another project for the Color Throwdown

This week’s colors are green, yellow and coral and I thought it would be nice doing some tropical, summery themed thank you cards with it.

I decided to go with a 3 1/2×3 1/2″ square card, which has a nice size as it still gives you enough room to play with.

For the stripey background, which I cut using a circle die, the hibiscus and leaves I used my Gansai Tambi water colors. I love to create whole sheets of specific color combinations, then I can use it for backgrounds or die cuts.

The Hibiscus die is from Newton’s Nook and the mahalo sentiment is from the new Aloha stamp set by Avry Elle.

I finished off with some sequins and some matching enamel dots.
